The States General of Innovation, the Wister Network and Direzioni Srl organize and promote the 1st learning meeting on Women and the use of Social Networks.
The event will be held in Padula in the province of Salerno from 19 July to 20 July Saturday in the Certosa di S. Lorenzo.
We talked about it with Flavia Marzano , president of the States General of Innovation , professor at the Sapienza University of Rome in Technologies for the Public Administration.
Flavia Marzano she has a degree in Information Sciences and has been a consultant for innovation in the Public Administration for more than 20 years. President of the General States of Innovation Association since 2011 .
He teaches Technologies for the Public Administration (in the last 3 years at the Sapienza University of Rome).
We ask Flavia what the WISTER Network is and how it was born
FM: Wister (Women for Intelligent and Smart TERritories) was born as my small and personal mailing list and initially included only friends with whom we periodically exchanged information, comments, proposals, events on gender issues especially in the world of technologies. But you know, from what comes what and, after an initial intervention at the Smart City Exhibition in Bologna (October 2012) in which we expressed the need to guarantee inclusion in every city that intends to define itself as "smart", we are now more than 240 women of all backgrounds, from all regions, of all ages, with many different skills but all convinced of the importance of teamwork, of working together for a fairer and more equitable world.
