Digital SkillShift: the collection of employers' needs on digital skills begins

The first phase of the project is in the starting blocks Digital SkillShift, by which it means retrain and improve citizens' skills who face the challenges of 'digital transformation' in the job market. The project aims to create new job opportunities for the beneficiaries of a tailor-made training programme, developing new skills and attitudes necessary for the current labor market. The ultimate goal is to create a scalable model and program for citizens and a new approach towards 'digital transformation' for employers.

In this first phase of the project which will focus on research and development throughout spring and summer 2019, the partners will explore the needs of employers through an online survey, before developing a bespoke blended learning programme.

We invite then all those who are interested in welcoming one of the beneficiaries of the training into their company, or who simply wish to contribute to the research on needs, to participate and click here for the survey on employers.

We remind you that the project is supported by JPMorgan Chase Foundation and implemented by ALL DIGITAL representing networks of centers for digital skills development, ICT learning, adult education and libraries across Europe. In Italy the project is coordinated by Patrizio Paoletti Foundation and, as announced, with the collaboration of the States General of Innovation.
