A "smart city" or "intelligent city" is an urban area in which it is possible to optimize and improve infrastructure and services for citizens, making them more efficient thanks to the use of digital technologies and more generally oftechnological innovation.
This is a real challenge for the Public Administration which needs new professional figures and a new set of specific skills.
The aim of the Erasmus+ project DevOps Competences for Smart Cities (Smart-DevOps) is just that: addressing the lack of digital skills And transferable in the sector of smart cities within the local public bodies and support employees in their professional development.
An important training opportunity for increasingly "smart" cities and for i common who decide to innovate by adopting the DevOps culture, principles and practices by introducing suitable professional profiles.
The project offers three online meetings, the topics will be illustrated by Sergio Farruggia, vice president of States General of Innovation and Secretary General of Automated Mapping/ Facility Management – Geographic Information Systems Italy (AM/FM GIS Italy).
This is the calendar, each webinar will last about an hour:

- Wednesday 20 October 2021, 6 pm "Technological design for the GIM"
