Thursday 18 June, from 15:00 to 18:00, at the Rome office of the "Link Campus University“ (Via Nomentana, 335, Rome) we will discuss the Geographic Information Manager, GIM, a new professional figure included in the bodies of governance of smart cities/communities, to support in this context the conscious use of geo-data and related available technologies.
It will be the occasion to present the position paper promoted by the General States of Innovation, the editorial staff of the TANTO geo-blog and written in collaboration with other associations, communities and individual professionals. As we publish this post, the draft document is available for consultation on the site dedicated to the GIM: until 15 June it is possible to contribute to the final draft of the position paper.
The meeting will be informal, open and includes an interactive debate after short presentations.
Once the comments and suggestions of the participants have been collected, at the end of the work the document will be delivered to AgID so that it can examine its contents and express its own evaluations on the matter.
