The "Open the Box" Forum promoted by the Italy 2020 Association, La Sapienza University, the States General of Innovation and the Luigi Sturzo Institute took place on 31 October at the Temple of Hadrian in Rome. The forum started with the publication of two books: “Integrated innovation. Businesses and public administration: new digital paradigms for sustainable progress” by Claudio Cipollini and Nicola Christian Rinaldi (Maggioli publisher) and “Smart cities? For an Italian way to smart cities” by Andrea Granelli (Luca Sossella publisher).
During the Forum, representatives of institutions, businesses, research and associations expressed their concrete proposals for the modernization of the country, to "fill the box" - now semi-empty - of innovation. Six key points emerged.
