Flavia Marzano, president of the Stati Generali dell'Innovazione Association, received, as part of the tenth edition of the Italy Web Award held in Pescara, the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Associations and Community Category, both as a founding member of the association and for the work done over the years in the world of online communities.
Elegant and suggestive lunar atmosphere for the Sala Michetti of the Aurum in Pescara, set up and completely transformed for the occasion, which the evening of May 11th has opened its doors to all Guests and Lifetime Achievement Award Winners who, during the Gala Dinner, attended the show, masterfully conducted by Charles Massarini.
The novelties, compared to the previous editions of Italy Web Award, have both been in the allocation of Lifetime Achievement Awards and for the opening of recognitions towards international organizations.
Indeed, surprisingly SECOND STORY, a very famous American web agency, won the WebFest getting theAwards 2012 and they were there to collect the prize on the evening of May 11th Brad Johnson – Founder Second Story And Julie Beeler – Founder & Managing Director. While Hector Ayuso Ros – Founder and Creative Director OFFF Barcelona – received the International Award own for OFFF Barcelona. Together with them, the Special Prizes were awarded to Icon Design (London creative agency) ea Elena Lombardi (Helpful Strangers of Stockholm) as an Italian professional established in the world.
THE Lifetime Achievement Awards, assigned to Italians, concerned the following categories: Associations and Communities, Research, Public Administration, Information, Start Ups, Arts and Entertainment, Professionals, Web Companies, Web Agencies and Special Awards.
The PWI 10 – Creative of the Decade was delivered to Stephen Scots, While Frieda Brioschi withdrew the PWI 10 – Professional of the Decade; Mirko Pallera and Ninja Marketing they win the Special Award for Knowledge and Experimentation in Italy and for the Associations and Community category, during the Award Ceremony the following received the Award: Michael Kettmaier – Director of the Ahref Foundation, Simon Zanette – President of IAB Italy, Fabio Lalli of Digital Indigenous, Orestes Lord of W3C Italy, Flavia Marzano – President of the States General of Innovation, Roberto Scano – President of IWA Italy, Stephen Trumpy – President of ISOC Italy e Claudius Simeon by WordPress Italy. Among the many winners present at the Awards ceremony AlsoMario Modica – Spot and Web Director, Maso Notarianni – Director of Peacereporter e Victor Zambardino, to which the Lifetime Achievement Awardfor the category Information. On the occasion of Tenth anniversary of the Web Italia Award, the Management has assigned i PWI as a Special Lifetime Achievement Award to those who, in the years from 2002 to 2012, have contributed to enhancing the aesthetic sense, design, creativity, language and innovation as distinctive and always recognizable elements of Italian culture and style, according to the famous claim that has accompanied the Web Italia Award for ten editions.
In the past ten years the Juries Of Italy Web Award they had the burden and the honor to evaluate over 50,000 web projects and to assign, in the various editions, over 300 Awards in the various disciplines and specializations while, in the field of Ten years of PWI, prizes were awarded for the first time to Italian and foreign individuals and organizations, with the aim of testifying their exemplary career.
