To submit an application for the 1st National Prize for Digital Skills there is time until January 17, 2022. It is an initiative of Digital Republic promoted by Department for digital transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and made with the support of Formez PA.
The goal is give visibility to the best digital skills development initiatives aimed at citizens carried out by public administrations, the third sector and businesses.
They can be submitted training/mentoring initiatives on digital skills aimed at citizens from 2019 (inclusive), which are already completed or still in progress (those in the planning stage are not allowed), disbursed free of charge.
The categories to compete in are:
- Digital for everyone: digital skills development initiatives aimed at all citizens, who have a broad and undifferentiated spectrum of recipients;
- Inclusive digital: digital skills development initiatives for citizens belonging to categories most at risk of digital divide (elderly, migrants, unemployed, people with disabilities, fragile people, etc.);
- Digital against the gender gap: initiatives aimed at women and girls, aimed at bridging the gender gap and promoting female employment in the digital and new technologies sectors;
- Digital in education for schools: digital skills development initiatives carried out in schools aimed at students and/or teachers.
