However, an organic strategic plan continues to be missing and several fundamental chapters (such as electronic commerce, digital literacy) still need to be addressed in a significant way. <strong>Much remains to be done, and this legislature will be truly decisive<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFor this reason the<strong>States General Association of Innovation<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statigeneralinnovazione.it\/en\/una-carta-dintenti-per-linnovazione-dellitalia\/\" target=\"_blank\">has promoted a Charter of Intent for Innovation in Italy<\/a>, as an indication of the programmatic priorities for innovation policies on which we think the next legislature should operate.<\/p>\n<p>We ask everyone (citizens, organisations) to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statigeneralinnovazione.it\/wiki\/index.php?title=Carta_d%27Intenti_per_l%27Innovazione\">collaborate to improve the Charter of Intent on the Association&#039;s wiki<\/a> that we have prepared (in the Discussion sheet), in view of the <strong>National Conference which will take place in Rome on February 4th<\/strong> and during which the <strong>candidates from the various political forces to sign the Charter and pledge to support it<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAn appointment not to be missed. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statigeneralinnovazione.it\/en\/progetti\/2013-2\/roma-lagenda-dellinnovazione-per-il-futuro-dellitalia\/\" target=\"_blank\">Important to register as soon as possible!<\/a><!--more-->Several initiatives have taken place this month, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the promotion of a <a href=\"http:\/\/opendataday.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Italian Open Data Day<\/a>, which will take place on February 23, and for which working groups have been set up, with a very large membership of administrations, professionals, companies, associations, and <strong>which we ask you to participate<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statigeneralinnovazione.it\/wiki\/index.php?title=Iniziative\" target=\"_blank\">NGO Transparency Manifesto<\/a>, proposed as part of the policies we want to develop for Open Government e <strong>which we ask all organizations to adhere to<\/strong> recipients of this newsletter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have also definitively set the date and venue for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statigeneralinnovazione.it\/en\/progetti\/2013-2\/roma-lagenda-dellinnovazione-per-il-futuro-dellitalia\/\" target=\"_self\">Annual Conference<\/a>.<br \/>\nIt will take place at <strong>Rome, at the headquarters of the CNR, on 4 February 2013<\/strong>.
