Open data, for open government

On the first day of work after taking office, President Obama signed the Memorandum on Transparency and Open Government, where he stated: “We will work together to ensure public trust and establish a system of transparency, citizen participation and collaboration. Openness will make our democracy stronger and will favor an efficient and incisive government”. The US Ambassador David H. Thorne recalled this in his speech at the conference on Open Government of the Forum PA, a real 'lesson' on open government and open data.
