#memoriaXIX Theaters of memory. A map of urban experiences in the XIX Municipality of Rome

FLYER aprile teatri_della_memoria

After the first January session it returns Theaters of Memory, the Urban Experience project that combines oral memories with multimedia languages, to solicit an exploration experience in the territory of the XIX Municipality of Rome, in Balduina, Monte Mario and Ottavia.

Through a web map the younger ones (from primary school children to high school students) will follow the paths narrated by the older ones, thus promoting an inter-generational exchange, to go on walks (walk shows) with radio headphones and smartphones, noting the genius loci narrated by those who have traced their experience, as in the itineraries among the "rural memories" of the Agro Romano of Casal del Marmo.
Some of these walk shows will see the participation of students from the Faculty of Architecture - Sapienza University of Rome, chair of prof. Antonino Saggio, to observe the course of the river from the Park of Monte Mario and discuss the UrbanVoids and Tevere Cavo projects.

A Talk Lab, which will also be attended by the students of the Scenic Design Course - Sapienza University of Rome with Prof. Luca Ruzza, will conclude the project on topics such as: urban regeneration, smart city, social innovation and performing media.

The real journey does not consist so much in discovering new places, as in the ability to look with different eyes. (Marcel Proust)

Thereport on the first session of the project,  links a press review and thefacebook event.

Theaters of memory is an Urban Experience project realized with the support of Roma Capitale-Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali and the collaboration of the XIX Municipality of Rome.
