Invitation to the workshop: "Legal instruments for open data: the available licenses and the choices of the FreeGis.net project"

On the occasion of the event SFScon2012 – South Tyrol Free Software Conference (https://2012.sfscon.it/) to be held on 16 November 2012 at the TIS Innovation Park, Bolzano, the first workshop of the project will take place FreeGIS.net.

The workshop, held by the experts Simone Aliprandi and Carlo Piana, will focus on the issue of licenses for optical data open, with emphasis on the world of geographic information. Participation is free.

The FreeGIS.net project

The project FreeGIS.net aims to address the recording, analysis, display and rendering of geographic information through the use of open data formats and free software tools. FreeGIS.net is an Interreg Italy-Switzerland project financed thanks to the Italy-Switzerland cross-border cooperation program 2007-2013 of the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) of the European Union and is a punctual study of the Interreg Italy-Switzerland CoCOS project, consolidated through the Free Software Center South Tyrol®, located in the Digital Technologies area of the TIS innovation park in Bolzano.
